Groundwater Assesment

If groundwater beneath your property is contaminated with petroleum product, our Certified Environmental Consultants can determine the best course of action for you. To characterize the lateral extent of groundwater contamination, samples are collected from any number of monitoring wells on your property. The samples are tested for total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Water level measurements from the wells can also determine ground-water flow directions. This data will be helpful in determining a scope of work and address which areas may require additional investigation. This information would also be used if working with the local government to mitigate potential impacts of contamination to nearby utilities and surface water.
